Edward Kannemeyer FRICS
Co-founder in 1980 and Partner of Drake & Kannemeyer. Edward has been a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors since 1965, and has over 50 years experience in property and construction, he was also a founder Director of KDK Limited, a joint venture company formed between the practice and Kennedy & Donkin. His experience ranges from private and commercial project management including the World Trade Centre and St Katherine’s Dock developments to major public sector estate appraisals and development studies and strategies. Edward co developed the firms estate survey methodologies and systems and was the project Director for the national KDK commissions for the University Funding Council survey comprising 72 University establishments of some 13 million square metres of academic and residential accommodation.
He was also responsible development of the firms Access Audit methodology and passed the First Module of a Degree Course in Disability Equality Education at the University of Surrey in 2002. Edward leads the provision of Professional Services within the firm and commissions on Listed Buildings and Conservation Projects.
Robert Bathurst BSc(Hons) MCIOB MRICS.
Robert is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Builder with 30 years experience in the Construction Industry and private practice.
He is the Practice Quality Assurance and IT Manager and has developed and written the practice software used in all Estate Surveys and has specialist IT skills and ability to provide bespoke Estate Management software solutions and modules tailored to clients needs. Responsibilities on Estate Surveys include survey team management, site survey audits, quality assurance monitoring, project management, costing and IT installation and training.
Robert also provides cost management on all Projects including Cost Plans, change control and settlement of accounts. He is currently developing systems of Life Cycle Costing relative to existing large portfolio estates.
